Recently, the ruins of Pagan in Burma (the 11-13th century) and the ruins of Borobudur in Jawa (the 9-10th century) are also becoming major. Moreover, the king's palace (Ratanakosin term : the 18th century - present) in Thailand Bangkok etc. is famous as a precious history building.

It is the Buddhist image which attracts an eye particularly also in it.

It is studied around the 6th century that the Buddhist image went into Southeast Asia for the first time. Expression, a dress, a posture, the quality of the material, etc. are transfigured under the influence of an aesthetic sense also with after [ peculiar to the land ] introduction of Buddhism, circumference countries, etc. It has resulted by the end of today.
Especially in this page, it thinks as important in the fine-arts style of Mon who founded the Buddhist image and kingdom of the Dvaravati term which is the first kingdom in Thailand, and a Buddhist image is introduced according to a country (the present territory).
