Thursday, 30 March, 2000 - Ericsson Open
Miss Dokic and her partner Patty Schnyder lost the 3rd round doubles match of the Ericsson Open to Liezel Horn and Laura Montalvo in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
She will take part in The Bausch & Lomb Championships, Tier-2 clay court tournament at Amelia Island Plantation, Florida from 10th April.

Wednesday, 29 March, 2000 - Ericsson Open
Miss Dokic and her partner Patty Schnyder stormed into the 3rd round with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 victory over Anna Kournikova and Natasha Zvereva. They will face 16th seed Liezel Horn (RSA) and Laura Montalvo (ARG) today.

Miss Dokic and her partner Patty Schnyder got through with a tough full sets match defeating Erika De Lone and Nicole Pratt in doubles 1st round.

Miss Dokic and her partner Patty Schnyder will play their 1st round doubles match today.

Conchita Martinez handed Miss Dokic her 4th loss in a row, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

Friday, 24 March, 2000 - Ericsson Open
Miss Dokic defeated Nana Miyagi in the 1st round of the Ericsson Open. She will meet Conchita Martinez in the 2nd round before facing either Patty Schnyder (SUI) or Rita Kuti Kis (HUN) in the 3rd round.
Miss Dokic has paired up with Patty Schnyder in the doubles. They will play Erika De Lone (USA) and Nicole Pratt (AUS) in the 1st round. In the next round, the winner will meet Anna Kournikova (RUS) and Natasha Zvereva (BLR) who are seeded 3rd and given a bye to the 2nd round.

The Ericsson Open official website notified the singles draw today.
In the 1st round, Miss Dokic will play a qualifier Nana Miyagi who is a member of Japanese Fed Cup team. Miss Dokic will face Conchita Martinez (ESP) again in the 2nd round. Conchita Martinez has been seeded 6th and given a bye to the 2nd round. The doubles draw is not available.

According to The WTA Tour official website, the WTA Tour's Annual Awards Ceremony was held last night in Miami. The 16-year-old Kim Clijsters (BEL) was honored as the Most Impressive Newcomer of the Year. She improved her ranking from 409 to 47 in 1999, won her first career singles title at Luxembourg and reached the final at Bratislava.

The WTA Tour official website notified that they will conduct the Coaches Orientation program during the Ericsson Open. The Coaches Registration Program is a part of the Tour's Player Development Program (PDP). The PDP specifically targets young players who are just beginning their careers in professional tennis. The PDP includes Partners for Success, the Tour's mentoring program, the Player Orientation Division, the Athlete Assistance Division and the Career Development Division.
- The draws of the Ericsson Open will be available tomorrow.

Catherine Barclay and Anne-Gaelle Sidot suffered a 2-6 4-6 loss to the American pair of Jennifer Capriati and Monica Seles (wc?!) in the 2nd round of the Newsweek Champions Cup.

Miss Dokic suffered a disappointing setback to Conchita Martinez once again, losing in straight sets.
And, she and her partner Irina Spirlea lost the 1st round match to Conchita Martinez and Patricia Tarabini. - Facing up to clay court players is a tough subject for her.
By the way, Catherine Barclay, a Sydneysider, and Anne-Gaelle Sidot (FRA) defeated Patty Schnyder (SUI) and Sonya Jeyaseelan (CAN), 6-4, 6-4 in the 1st round.

Conchita Martinez (ESP) defeated Magdalena Maleeva (BUL) in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, so Miss Dokic will play Conchita Martinez (seeded 6th) in the 3rd round.
- She lost 2 times to Conchita Martinez at du Maurier Open (Montreal) and Toyota Princess Cup (Tokyo) last year.

Saturday, 11 March, 2000 - Newsweek Champions Cup
Miss Dokic defeated Silvija Talaja in the 2nd round of the Newsweek Champions Cup.
Magdalena Maleeva (BUL) defeated Maria Antonia Sanchez Lorenzo (ESP) 6-2, 6-2 in the 1st round, so she will play either Conchita Martinez (ESP) or Magdalena Maleeva (BUL) in the 3rd round.

Miss Dokic has been given a bye to the 2nd round in the singles. She will play Croatian Silvija Talaja in the 2nd round before facing Conchita Martinez (ESP) or Magdalena Maleeva (BUL) or Maria Antonia Sanchez Lorenzo (ESP) in the 3rd round.

The Age (Australia) reported that Lesley Bowrey named Miss Dokic for a member of Australia's Fed Cup team, alongside Rennae Stubbs, Nicole Pratt and teenager Alicia Molik.
Australia have been drawn in Group C with Russia, France and Belgium. Victory in the round-robin competition in Moscow on 27-30 April will qualify for the Fed Cup finals in November. The 2nd and 3rd-place teams will remain in the World Group.
- Rennae Stubbs won two grand slam doubles titles at Australian Open 2000.

According to Tennis Australia, Miss Dokic has been nominated for the WTA Tour Newcomer of the Year award alongside Kim Clijsters (BEL) and Justine Henin (BEL).
