Tuesday, 31 October, 2000 - Sparkassen Cup, Starlight Cup
According to the Sparkassen Cup official website, Miss Dokic and partner Magdalena Maleeva lost their 1st round match to the 2nd seeded pair of Aranxta Sanchez Vicario and Anne-Gaelle Sidot, 2-6, 7-6 (3), 4-6 in the doubles yesterday.
Miss Dokic will play a local qualifier Andrea Glass in the 1st round of singles on Center Court today.

Monday, 30 October, 2000 - Sparkassen Cup
According to the Sparkassen Cup official website, Miss Dokic and partner Magdalena Maleeva will play their 1st round match on Center Court today. You will be able to watch the match with LiveCam.
The singles qualifying final matches have been started. Miss Dokic's opponent in the singles 1st round will be Janette Husarova (SVK) or Andrea Glass (GER) or Sandra Nacuk (YUG) or the winner of Evelyn Fauth (AUT) and Stefanie Gehrlein (GER).

Sunday, 29 October, 2000 - Sparkassen Cup, Heineken Open
The Sparkassen Cup official website announced the main draws today.
Miss Dokic will play a qualifier in the 1st round of singles, before meeting either local player Barbara Rittner or a qualifier in the next round. She has been drawn to play Ai Sugiyama (JPN) or Kim Clijsters (BEL) or the 2nd seeded Aranxta Sanchez Vicario (ESP) in the quarterfinals-round.
Miss Dokic will pair up with Bulgarian Magdalena Maleeva, 1995 singles finalist in this tournament. They will face the 2nd seeded pair of Aranxta Sanchez Vicario (ESP) and Anne-Gaelle Sidot (FRA) in the 1st round of doubles.

Wednesday, 25 October, 2000 - Kremlin Cup, Sparkassen Cup
According to the Kremlin Cup official website, Miss Dokic and partner Elena Likhovtseva lost their 1st round match to the top seeded pair of Julie Halard-Decugis and Ai Sugiyama, 6-2, 3-6, 2-6 in the doubles yesterday.
Miss Dokic will take part in the Sparkassen Cup 2000 - Internationaler Damen Tennis Grand Prix Leipzig, Tier2a indoor supreme court tournament, which will be held from 30th October to 5th November, 2000 in Leipzig, Germany.

Tuesday, 24 October, 2000 - Kremlin Cup
According to the Kremlin Cup official website, Miss Dokic made her senior debut in Moscow today with suffering a 1-6, 4-6 loss to the 5th seed Amelie Mauresmo in the singles 1st round.
Miss Dokic has ranked up to No.27 in the singles and No.54 in the doubles yesterday. Both are her highest-ever rankings in the WTA Tour.

According to the Kremlin Cup official website, Miss Dokic is scheduled for singles action on Central Court and doubles action on No.1 Court at Moscow Olympic Stadium tomorrow.

According to the Heineken Open official website, Meghann Shaughnessy won her first career WTA Tour title today after defeating Iroda Tulyaganova in straight sets, 7-6 (2), 7-5.
According to the Kremlin Cup official website, the draws ceremony took place in Sheraton Palace Hotel today.
Miss Dokic was drawn to play her opening match against the 5th seed Amelie Mauresmo (FRA) in the main draw of singles.

According to the Heineken Open official website, Iroda Tulyaganova reached the singles final and will meet the 4th seed Meghann Shaughnessy tomorrow after upsetting the 3rd seed Tamarine Tanasugarn in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4 today.
Kremlin Cup official official website announced the singles qualifying draw. Miss Dokic is on the waiting list among other committed players, however, there is no name of her in the qualifying draw. The main draw will be available tomorrow.
SportsToday reported that Miss Dokic has declined her Hopman Cup invitation in favor of a Hong Kong exhibition - the Watson's Water Millennium Cup ? - Sorry, I don't know... She reportedly announced that she would not represent her country in any future competition, protesting against a report of the Australian Tennis Magazine after Sydney Olympics.

Friday, 20 October, 2000 - Heineken Open Shanghai
According to the Heineken Open official website, Miss Dokic made a quarterfinals-round exit from the Heineken Open Shanghai after losing in straight sets, 3-6, 4-6 to a former rival in the junior tour, Iroda Tulyaganova today.
In her post-match interview, Miss Dokic said that she is scheduled to play Ladies Kremlin Cup in Moscow.

According to the Heineken Open official website, Miss Dokic and partner Joannette Kruger lost their opening round match to Janet Lee and Wynne Prakusya, 5-7, 2-6 in the doubles yesterday.
In the singles, she accounted for Rita Grande in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4 in the 2nd round today and was set to meet Uzbek teenager Iroda Tulyaganova for a semi-final berth. The winner will face either the 3rd seed Tamarine Tanasugarn (THA) or the 5th seed Anna Smashnova (ISR) for the final. Iroda Tulyaganova reached the quarter-finals with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 win over the 8th seed Rita Kuti Kis (HUN) in the 1st round and a 6-1 6-3 win over Wynne Prakusya (INA) in the 2nd round.

According to the cnnews.com, more than half matches of the 1st round at the Heineken Open Shanghai have been postponed because of heavy rain. Miss Dokic is scheduled for singles and doubles action on and after 18th October.
According to the Hyundai Hopman Cup official website, the teams and draw will be announced at the Official Launch and Draw on 2nd November 2000. CBS SportsLine reported that Tournament director Paul McNamee said the Australian team was not yet settled and Miss Dokic was automatically invited but had never committed to play this year. The 13th Hopman Cup will be played at the Burswood Dome in Perth, Australia from 30th December 2000 to 6th January 2001.

The doubles draw of the Heineken Open Shanghai is available.
Miss Dokic will team up with South Africa's Joannette Kruger for a 1st round doubles match today against Janet Lee (TPE) and teenager Wynne Prakusya (INA).

Sunday, 15 October, 2000 - Heineken Open Shanghai
Miss Dokic will take part in Heineken Open Shanghai (Tier4A), outdoor hard court tournament, which will be held on 16-22 October in Shanghai, China.
She has been seeded No.2 and drawn to play Janet Lee (TPE) in her opening round of singles. The winner will face either Rita Grande (ITA) or Marlene Weingartner (GER) in the 2nd round. The doubles draw is not available.
-- Janet Lee reached the quarter-finals of singles at the Japan Open last week as a qualifier.

According to the Swisscom Challenge official website, Miss Dokic and her partner Sandra Nacuk suffered a 4-6, 6-3, 5-7 loss to Kimberly Po and Anne-Gaelle Sidot in the quarter-finals of doubles yesterday.
Miss Dokic will take part in Ladies Kremlin Cup (Tier1), indoor supreme court tournament, which will be held on 21-29 October at Moscow Olympic Stadium. It may be that she will play the qualifying matches in the singles draw, based on 28th August rankings. Her next week schedule is not available.

Thursday, 12 October, 2000 - Swisscom Challenge
According to the Swisscom Challenge official website, Miss Dokic and her partner Sandra Nacuk defeated Sabine Appelmans and Catalina Cristea, 6-1, 6-2 in the 1st round of doubles yesterday. They will play a quarter-finals match tomorrow against Kimberly Po (USA) and Anne-Gaelle Sidot (FRA) who upset the top seed pair of Ai Sugiyama (JPN) and Nathalie Tauziat (FRA) yesterday, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

Wednesday, 11 October, 2000 - Swisscom Challenge, Australian Open
The top seed Martina Hingis has gained revenge for the heaviest defeats of her career in the 1st round at Wimbledon 1999. According to the Swisscom Challenge official website, Miss Dokic lost to Martina Hingis in straight sets, 3-6, 2-6 in the 2nd round of singles yesterday.
-- Martina Hingis described Miss Dokic as " She took a higher risk today..... It is more important to do less errors than to hit a great winner, especially on a surface like here and indoors in general. " in her post-match interview.
Miss Dokic and her partner Sandra Nacuk will play thier 1st round match in the doubles against Sabine Appelmans and Catalina Cristea on Centre Court today.
According to the yesterday's interview with Miss Dokic, she will play Ladies Kremlin Cup in Moscow and Sparkassen Cup Int'l Grand Prix in Leipzig and " maybe something next week ".
Tennis Australia official website announced today that Australian Open 2001 website will be launched tomorrow. Both men and women will receive equal prize money at the upcoming Grand Slam on 15-28 January 2001. Among the 4 Grand Slam tournaments, only the U.S. Open has paid equal prize money until now.

Miss Dokic and her partner Corina Morariu lost their semi-finals match in doubles yesterday to the 2nd seeded pair of Paola Suarez and Nana Miyagi, 7-5, 5-7, 3-6.
Finally Serena Williams won the singles title after defeating Daja Bedanova, 6-1, 6-4 in the semi-finals yesterday and Julie Halard-Decugis, 7-5, 6-1 in the final today. Monica Seles retired yesteday with both feet injury in the 2nd set of her semi-finals match against Julie Halard-Decugis, 4-6, 3-4.
In the doubles, No.1 seeded pair of Julie Halard-Decugis and Ai Sugiyama won the title after defeating unseeded pair of Tathiana Garbin and Janette Husarova, 6-1, 7-5 in the semi-finals yesterday and the 2nd seeded pair of Nana Miyagi and Paola Suarez, 6-0, 6-2 in the final today.

Friday, 06 October, 2000 - Toyota Princess Cup, Swisscom Challenge
According to the TPC 2000 official website and other tennis websites, Miss Dokic made a quarterfinal-round exit from the singles after losing in straight sets, 3-6, 4-6 to Serena Williams in the Ariake Coliseum today.
Miss Dokic and her doubles partner Corina Morariu will play a semi-finals match against the 2nd seeded pair of Paola Suarez (ARG) and Nana Miyagi (JPN).
The semi-finals matches both of singles and doubles will be played on Centre Court tomorrow.

According to the TPC 2000 official website and other tennis websites, Miss Dokic advanced to the quarter-finals of singles with a 6-4, 7-6 (1) victory over Lina Krasnoroutskaya. Meanwhile, her doubles partner Corina Morariu was defeated by fellow American Kristina Brandi, 6-2, 5-7, 2-6 in the 2nd round today.
Miss Dokic is scheduled to play tomorrow against Serena Williams, reportedly weakened by a cold since the Olympics. The winner will play a semi-finals match against either the 5th seed Amy Frazier of USA or Czech tour rookie Daja Bedanova who upset the 3rd seed Amelie Mauresmo of France, 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 in the 2nd round today.

Miss Dokic will play her 2nd round match of singles against Lina Krasnoroutskaya on Centre Court tomorrow. In the quarter-finals, the winner will find Olympic doubles champion Serena Williams, who was given a bye to the 2nd round and defeated Tamarine Tanasugarn today, 6-1, 6-4.
