About Fed Cup: "I'm not considering playing Fed Cup for anybody right now... because it's right between tournaments which I'm playing." and "Even if it was, you know, an hour's travel for me, I probably still wouldn't play it because I'm concentrating on my tournaments."

Sunday, 18 March, 2001 - Ericsson Open etc.
Some reports on the WTA Tour Web Board and Jelena-Dokic.com Messageboard suggested that Miss Dokic seemed to be going to play for Australia again (not for Yugoslavia). Miss Dokic was listed with "AUS" as her country on "Women's 2001 Player List" page of the Ericsson Open 2001 website and also on "Players" page of the 2001 Bausch & Lomb Championships website. She was officially listed as an Australian player on "Player Database" of the ITF's official website and also on "Offical Rankings" (as of March 5th) of the SanexWTA Tour official website. Tennis Australia official website and Australia's major sports newssites are keeping silence about this matter.
