Right now, I would like to go with a winning team." On 29th April, Nicole Pratt was quoted as saying that she was confident that she could persuade Miss Dokic to again play for Australia.

The Betty Barclay Cup 2001 official website announced the main draw of doubles yesterday.
Miss Dokic teamed up with clay-court specialist Conchita Martinez (ESP). They will play their 1st round match against a veteran pair of Patricia Tarabini (ARG) and Caroline Vis (NED).
-- If it is not mistake, this partnership is a little bit strange. Conchita Martinez has been coached by regular doubles partner Patricia Tarabini since 1999. Miss Dokic has played 4 times against them with another partner each time - at Australian Open and Toyota Princess Cup in 1999, and at Indian Wells and Wimbledon in 2000.
According to the official website, Miss Dokic was set to play her 1st round match of singles tomorrow or later against local qualifier Barbara Rittner.
