Jelena Dokic: Archives

Archived News - August, 2002.

Saturday, 31 August, 2002 - U.S. Open
Her final Grand Slam of the season was over. Miss Dokic and new partner Eleni Daniilidou had been scheduled to play against 12th seeded team of Amanda Coetzer and Lori McNeil at the 3rd match on the Court-9 on Friday. But they withdrew from the women's doubles competition and have been replaced by Amanda Augustus and Jennifer Embry in the draw. She seems to have lost her target to play tennis, besides having several off-court problems. Of course, I hope it is not true, but...our princess often throws her servants into confusion.
