Paper Butterfly
![]() |
There is a beautiful magic called "Paper Butterfly". A magician cuts a piece of paper into the shape of a butterfly with his scissors. As he sends a wind to the butterfly with a fan in his hand, she begins to flutter and fly in the air as if she is alive. She is cheerfully dancing, moving flower to flower as the spring comes, and finally dies gently. Suddenly, she is born again as a thousand of small butterflies, flying all over the stage. Thumb tie First, the magician takes two paper strings. He makes one into a loop , putting his crossed thumbs through it . His thumbs are bound with the loop, and then tight with the other string to cross it by a spectator so that his thumbs should never move. Secondly, his assistant holds a sword. The magician puts his bound fingers close to its blade and passes them through it, then pulling the fingers back, but neither of the fingers nor the string is damaged. This trick seems impossible in general unless either his fingers or the strings are cut off. The magic showed a remarkable progress up to this level nearly one century ago. You can watch this movie!
